DRIVE Isabel Trains Future Educators to Lead the Way in Road Safety

Building on the momentum of its launch last year, the extension project DRIVE Isabel (Developing Responsible and Informed Vehicle Engagement) held its second road safety seminar for commuters and drivers at VSU Isabel.

The initiative, which first trained Engineering students on September 11, 2025, shifted its focus to the Department of Teacher Education. Project organizers noted that educating future teachers is a strategic move to ensure road safety awareness is integrated into future community leadership.

The training featured a collaborative panel of experts, including representatives from the Isabel Traffic Enforcers, PNP, LTO, and PVRC/FEVMA, alongside VSU’s technical experts in Industrial and Mechanical Engineering.

By bridging the gap between law enforcement and academic expertise, DRIVE Isabel continues to foster a sustained culture of traffic discipline across the municipality.
