RCCRDC was established as a strategic response by VSU to formalize its climate action efforts. Its creation strengthened the university’s leadership in addressing regional vulnerabilities to climate change. Over time, RCCRDC has launched numerous initiatives involving LGUs, NGOs, and development partners. The Center has become instrumental in mainstreaming climate action within local governance and community planning.
