The National Coconut Research Center – Visayas (NCRC-V) received four prestigious awards, namely: Best Booth of the Year, Green Leadership Award, Most Innovative Booth, and Most Creative Booth during the VSU 102nd Founding Anniversary Awarding Ceremony.

The Best Booth of the Year award was conferred upon NCRC-V in recognition of the booth’s outstanding overall presentation and impact. The Green Leadership Award was given for the Center’s environmentally conscious booth design and its adoption of sustainable practices. NCRC-V also received the Most Innovative Booth and Most Creative Booth awards for its engaging and inventive approach to presenting research outputs, making the exhibit both educational and enjoyable for visitors.

Furthermore, NCRC-V showcased a wide range of coconut-based technologies, products, and innovations developed by the Center. Visitors explored the creative exhibits that highlighted the significance of coconut research in advancing agriculture, food security, and rural livelihoods.
